Faroe Islands

In between Iceland and Norway we stopped at Klaksvik, Faroe Islands.  This is owned by Denmark.  The towns here are so small and mobbed with the 3,000 people who got off the ship (that number is a minimum as long as there are no other cruise boats around) that what better choice to make than go on another hike.  This time a shorter climb but still amazing views of these lush green hills and waterways.  As always politely wandering through somebody’s pasture.  Found myself some more animal friends who enjoyed some Crew Mess Diner apples.

I am so glad to have Ryan here on board and my other new friends whom I can enjoy these beautiful landscapes with.  There honestly isn't much to say about some of these ports.  The photos really explain it all.  We get real creative with our picnics.  Bring some zip lock bags in when we eat breakfast and walk out with some lovely snacks for the road.  Keeping it classy and affordable I say!

  1. All these pictures just look amazing! So much hiking and so much picnic! And that horse looks awesome, I especially like his hair. In my mind he has a pretty cool voice too "Apple? Hey thanks, I think I would love some apple. omnomnom".

Some of these towns really do just look unbelievable though. And if you are into tidy towns, every year in Ireland there is a town dubbed "Tidy Town" and they are voted to have the tidiest town in all of Ireland, pretty dang fun. :)
